Youstice Partners With Convirgente

Youstice - a global web application to resolve customer complaints - is dynamically expanding its footprint to grow the network of partners, including online dispute resolution (ODR) providers. The latest announced partner to cooperate with Youstice is Convirgente – an ODR provider based in Lisbon, Portugal, who will help resolve cases of customers in France, Portugal, Brazil and English-speaking countries as the independent neutral.

ODR is a modern way to resolve disputes online by independent professionals. If a customer cannot reach a satisfactory agreement with a retailer, he or she can ask an ODR provider for an independent decision. This option allows customers to receive a fair decision, and retailers to boost their status of a trustworthy business.

Convirgente was founded in 2009 by Ana Maria Gonçalves and François Bogacz, two Alternative Dispute Resolution neutrals who are both certified by the International Mediation Institute (IMI). Both have many years of experience in the software industry and are well familiar with online environments. Ana Maria Gonçalves is the co-chair of the IMI ODR Taskforce and teaches regularly about the skills of online mediators. She also has a very strong expertise in customer service development and management. François Bogacz has been very active in the online space since 1998, when he started an Internet consulting agency in France.

"We are very proud and excited to join the Youstice ODR ecosystem" - says Ana Maria Gonçalves. "We intend to use our online know-how and our extensive network of neutrals in France, Portugal, Brazil and English-speaking countries to build up resources in three languages (French, English and Portuguese), as Youstice gets progressively adopted by the online retailers in various countries – and we believe this will come fast. We are convinced Youstice's availability, jointly with high-quality ODR services from providers like Convirgente, will dramatically increase trust between shoppers and suppliers, something that is much needed all over the world."
